More Patrols Added To 'Haunted' Cemetery
Dodge County deputies are stepping up their patrols around a local cemetery with a reputation for paranormal sightings. Author Chad Lewis included the Eagle Road Cemetery in the Town of Clyman in his series, "The Road Guide To Haunted Locations." Lewis said there have been reports of ghostly figures and blasts of cold on warm nights. Town Chairman Dave Blank said the attention has led to ongoing vandalism problems.
He said the town board may raise the loitering fine from $200 to $1,000. According to the sheriff's department logs, deputies have been told to check the graveyard during all shifts. The graveyard dates back to the 1800s. Bank said no one's been buried there in more than 20 years.
